The missional pathway

From August 13th until September 10th, we'll be exploring The Missional Pathway during our Sunday Services. This is a five-week training on living out our calling in the places we live, work, and play. This training will provide practical and insightful follow up steps to our Summer's focus on faith flourishing in our local context. It's our hope that through this training we will be able to envision a future in which we live out our calling to love Jesus and our neighbors in intentional and meaningful ways.

Each session builds on the next, so we've created this page in case you miss a Sunday and want to catch up!

Here you'll find links to Sundays' trainings and other resources.

Part 1: Intro to the Missional Pathway - Sunday, August 13, 2017

This video is Part One of our Missional Pathway series at Rose City Church. This training was offered by Pastor Dan Davidson at RCC on August 13, 2017.

As I have said right along, one of the deepest mysteries we encounter in reading the Bible is how it could be that these disciples, who had been cowards, became in the end courageous apostles.
— Endo, The Life of Jesus

Part 2: Awake to My Past - Sunday, August 20, 2017

We do not always realize that among the best things we can give each other are good memories: kind words, signs of affection, gestures of sympathy, peaceful silences, and joyful celebrations.
— Nouwen, The Living Reminder

Part 3: Awake to My Present - Sunday, August 27, 2017

As the echoes of [Rom.] 11:18 through 20, 25 make clear, every believer is to reckon himself or herself dependent upon the single gift of divine mercy: believers cannot boast as if there were something about themselves that rendered them worthy of the divine call.
— John Barclay, Paul and the Gift
